Some careers are planned; mine unfolded through grit, sacrifice, and a deep connection to the people and landscapes of North Bend/Coos Bay.
I never thought my path into real estate would begin high above the ground, but my first career goal was to be a lineman—and I did it. I worked with power lines, fixing and maintaining them, and while I loved the challenge, I also started looking for ways to create long-term wealth. Real estate kept coming up as a reachable, tangible avenue. I devoured books by Dave Ramsey and Tom Ferry and kept circling back to the same truth: people have built wealth through property for generations. With the right professional handling management and marketing, anyone can get started.
With that mindset, I took a job as a bookkeeper at a local real estate office. It was my chance to learn from the inside—what REALTORS® actually did, how transactions flowed, and how properties were marketed. As soon as an opening came up, I earned my license and stepped into the role myself.
Being a North Bend/Coos Bay local made the transition feel natural. I’ve lived here my whole life and have a deep love for this place—the mountains, the rivers, and the people. I even met my wife, Kelsea, here. We went to the same kindergarten; I still remember when she broke her arm falling from the monkey bars. Even then, I noticed her sweetness. We started dating at North Bend high school and have been together ever since.
When I jumped into real estate full time, it was scary at first. I learned as much as I could from seasoned agents, asked a lot of questions, and put in the work. Pretty quickly my business began to grow.
One of the toughest periods came when Kelsea went to dental hygienist school in Boise, Idaho. I was paying for two apartments—one in Oregon and one in Idaho—and traveling back and forth on weekends to see her. It tested us as a couple in every possible way. That period taught me discipline. I put my head down and worked, determined to make our future possible.
That attitude—quietly grinding, learning, and staying committed—has shaped my real estate career. Over time, I’ve built a business that allows me to serve clients and help them navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives. Nothing feels better than seeing a client settle into a home or an investment that moves them closer to their goals.
Outside of work, I’m big on the outdoors and my family. We have two sons that love being outdoors. Coos County offers endless opportunities to fish, hike, and camp, and I try to take full advantage. Golfing is another passion of mine, and when fall rolls around, you’ll find me cheering on the Oregon Ducks—college football is a big deal in our household.
Giving back to my community is just as important to me as serving my clients. I volunteer with our county’s board of REALTORS® and I’m currently serving as vice president. It’s a way to support the profession and shape the future of real estate in our area.
Looking back, I’m grateful for the path that led me here. Real estate has allowed me to combine my love of people, my love for the Oregon coast, and my drive to work hard in service to others.
I pride myself on responding quickly to calls and going above and beyond for my clients. I take my fiduciary role seriously, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a salesperson. My focus is always on building long-term relationships, not just closing transactions. I pay close attention to the details, communicate issues as soon as I see them, and work to find practical solutions. My goal is to take as much stress off my clients’ shoulders as possible so they can relax and enjoy the process instead of feeling overwhelmed.
I also maintain positive relationships with other agents, which helps smooth negotiations and can even give my clients an edge. With a vetted list of reliable vendors ready to handle any repair or improvement, I make sure every need is covered. I’m committed to offering the highest level of care and professionalism, providing clear and honest advice at every step. To serve my clients better, I continuously update my knowledge of regulations and market trends so the guidance I give is always current.
Sincerely,

Levi Rider
